Our story

Roomz in Malta started out as a boredom house  expansion  project during the Covid lockdowns. Much of the initial manual work ( apart from building & electrical works) was completed by ourselves, turning a simple idea into a hobby. We spent our days   creating a welcoming space for travellers seeking a unique experience in Marsascala, and from 2022 we welcomed our first guest from Germany. Way back in the 1990s we also used to host English Language students in one of our bedrooms. We enjoy this as a hobby since we are now retired and  not  as a business where people are only numbers, we  also like to meet new people from different countries as we love to travel ourselves. We prefer to spend less on accomodation and more on exploring, local tours and eating out.

Our Local Festa dedicated to St Anne is held on the last weekend  in July.

The  big Festa of Our Lady of Graces in our neighbouring town of Zabbar is held on the 2nd weekend in September.

A new boat trip service on a traditional ' Luzzu' former fishing boat now operates from the bay just past the playing field. The locally built Luzzu boats are made out of a strong wooden hull to withstand open waters and painted in photogenic bright colours.
